The Secret Solicitor met with an MP in early January to discuss the lack of assistance to British nationals murdered in Pakistan. The MP has put forward questions to parliament to ask for statistics for the last five years, per country.
The data is due to be delivered to the Secret Solicitor around the end of March. While waiting to hear, the Secret Solicitor received shocking data for the period 2010 to 2015. During this timeframe over 250 Britons were murdered in Pakistan, Tunisia, France and the USA, as quoted by Jim Shannon, MP, in the Hansard report in May 2025.
